Jay founded Addition in 2018 and has scaled three companies over the last 10 years in three different industries and geographies. He is Chairman of The Rumi Foundation, a UK charitable foundation with an endowment of over £100m that serves as the channel for his family’s philanthropic work.

Jay began his career as a corporate lawyer with Linklaters in London, Moscow and Shanghai. He completed his undergraduate studies in Law at Cambridge University (Double First). In 2011, he obtained an MBA at Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar.

Federico has been actively involved with Addition since 2018, as part of a strategy to invest his family capital. He is currently a senior investment professional in a global alternative investment management firm and has been actively involved in many private equity transactions over the past fifteen years.

He began his career as an investor in 2007 at SAC Capital in New York. Prior to that, he was an investment banker with Salomon Smith Barney and Goldman Sachs in New York. He obtained an MSc in Engineering from University of Michigan in 2003 and received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011.

Richard joined Addition in 2020 to lead the development of the co-investor ecosystem and to drive deal sourcing. Richard has established and led two Single Family Office operations: one focused on direct deals in Latin America and the other for an international finance entrepreneur.

He began his career advising UHNW clients at J.P. Morgan in London and New York following 6 years as an Officer in the British Army. Richard received a BA in History from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Raj joined Addition as a summer associate in 2020 before returning as a Principal in 2021 after graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School. Raj leads transactions and works with portfolio companies on growth initiatives.

Previously, Raj was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group within the private equity practice, where he led growth strategy for telecoms companies, dental chains and healthcare. Raj graduated from Imperial College with an MEng in Electrical Engineering with Management in 2015 with first class honours.

Mariano joined Addition in 2020 to reinforce Addition’s digital skills. Mariano joined Addition from WorldRemit, where he focused on improving digital marketing and analysis across consumer channels. He started his career at McKinsey & Co, where he worked on driving revenues and digital growth at companies across retail, healthcare and consumer.

Mariano received a BA in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires in 2016 with a full scholarship.
